EPIP is kicking off its 20 year anniversary and recently named its first ever Black woman as Executive Director - Storme Gray. As we prepare to celebrate 20 years of great programming shaped by thousands of EPIPers, we know that the leadership of women of color, particularly Black women, have played a critical role in EPIP’s growth and evolution over the years. With an evolving focus on social justice that now boldly embraces racial equity in the philanthropic field, this is a perfect opportunity to talk about the ways in which EPIP was uniquely destined for this moment. In addition to hearing from this intergenerational panel of women of color leaders, this conversation will also address the challenges and successes that women of color have had in philanthropy.
Come hear from women of color leaders who have seen first hand the impact and influence of EPIP’s work over time and whose leadership has been shaped deeply by the organization. The panelists have helped to build, lead, and advance the work of EPIP and now stand in support of the first woman of color ED. We hope that this conversation will inspire why and how it is important to continue to create space where women of color can lead powerfully and authentically. EPIP was made for this moment!
